Feedback on Problem

To describe the problem that advances your startup venture, you need to locate the problem in within the industry or a particular customer segment. From there, you should then name the problem and then move on to describe the consequences of the problem.

It is important that you rely on some kind of research to validate the problem — meaning does the problem exist and why does it exist.

Sample Problem Write-up

Chore Buddy sees children struggling to finish their chores. Chores are tedious and boring. Also, young children have not developed sufficient executive functioning ability to simply complete chores on their own. Chores require children to monitor progress, complete multi-step tasks, and make sound judgements.

How to calculate team values

Here are list of steps to calculate team value for the project presentation activity:

1.Sum or add up the total for all your columns

2. Add up the totals from all the columns

3. Take the value from step 2 and divide (36 x the number of responses)…this is a percentage

4. Take the number from step 3 and multiple it by $5000

5. Multiple 100 times the number of students who did not take the survey

6. Add step 4 and step 5

Example

50 + 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 + 50

450

36 x 17 = 612

450 / 612 = .73

.73 x 5000 = 3676

28-17 = 11; 11 x 100 = 1,100

3676 + 1100 = $4776
