At this point, it is probably wise to pause and write your mission statement. Your mission statement, if used correctly, will you and your group to make decisions and take actions as you develop your startup venture.
The purpose of the mission statement is provide workers with a vision for how to act and make decisions. Think of a mission statement as what you hope your startup will achieve. For example, if your startup was a coffee shop, then your mission most likely would be: offer the finest coffee in a relaxing environment, or satisfy our customers.
There are two approaches to crafting your mission statement.
- market = the focus is on transforming the market
- customer = the focus is on improving the lives of your customers
Comments

- Means to an end (the ends that you want to achieve with your business)
