Overview
The purpose of this activity is to introduce you and your teammates to notion of entrepreneurship as well as the importance of entrepreneurship as global activity. Below you will find several resources (print and video) that discuss the concept of entrepreneurship.
Procedures
To complete this activity, you should follow the steps below:
Step 1
As a team, Select at least 4 source documents
Step 2
While you are reading and viewing these sources, you should take notes on important details and concepts. I suggest you create a shared Google Document. This will allow you to share your notes with your team. This should take about 15 – 20 minutes to complete.
Step 3
When you are finished, you will meet with your team to share your findings. Use the questions below to guide your discussion.
- What is entrepreneurship?
- What are some examples of entrepreneurship?
- Why is entrepreneurship an important activity?
- What evidence is offered to support the notion that entrepreneurship is important?
Step 4
After the discussion, you and your team should prepare a Google Slideshow that address the four questions.
Step 5
Practice your presentation.
Step 6
Present your work to the class.
Step 7
Reflect on your group’s performance.
